We invite you to follow the progress on our latest project where an old barn will be transformed into a new home! The barn is located in Northeastern Ohio and will be the new home for a family of four. Check back often for updates on the progress of this challenging project on our blog page, on Facebook, and houzz . Looking forward to keeping you posted! - Tim

We successfully removed the existing concrete from the barn floor. It's quite deceiving how much concrete was in the floor (See photos below)! The removal of the concrete allows us to trench for our underground utilities and radiant heating in the new concrete floor. Stay tunes for more! - Tim

We've been busy the past few weeks! Question: Why would we construct an 8' high by 12' wide masonry wall and fill it with limestone? Answer: This wall will stop the new bank from pushing in and compromising the existing barn masonry walls!

The retaining walls to keep the bank in place are from a local quarry (photos below). We will start building the bank next week. We'll keep you posted on the progress. -Tim

Now that the new bank is built, we've turned our attention to the necessary structural work to make the existing barn strong enough to be a home. These photos show how we are adding structural beams under the existing floor. We are also adding new columns to hold the steel beams in place. The exterior photo shows how we are closing up old window openings and starting to frame for the new front doors and windows. Stay tuned, there's lots more to come! Tim

Happy New Year to everyone! Excited to share these photos showing how well we are progressing with the new structural framing of the barn home. You can see where the front and side entrances are located, as well as, the framing for the lower stairs. Stay tuned, there is much more to come in 2018! - Tim
